elBulli as a restaurant will close this season to become a foundation in two years, elBULLI FOUNDATION. However the projects don´t stop and Ferran Adrià is thinking constantly. Together we are developing an ambitious idea for a tableware research and development center.

Fantastic Orange Tree is an animation and film production company which specializes in the development of animated cartoon series and tv movies. Our mission is to create new characters, worlds and stories which will captivate audiences.

Founded in 2009 by Pere Gifre and Daniel Molina, Fantastic Orange Tree has already created Celebrity Day, a series over 900 minutes long, and 3 CHEF which is currently id development. Fantastic Orange Tree has its own art team, headed by Daniel Molina and Pere Gifre, with the capacities to desing a complete series.

Our Philosophy obligates us to design our production according to new media markets, making full use of the opportunities presented to us by new forms of technology and communication.

As IKONIC´s Project Manager, my main task is to develop, monitor and follow-up work plans for the implementation of projects. The financial management and contents audiovisual and interactive production are also among my duties. Normally I participate creatively in all projects we do.

IKONIC ARTS is a technical-conceptual design studio which uses new technologies as the basis for investigation and development processes. The company was founded in 2005 by Pere Gifre and Daniel Molina, with the emphasis being on the constant pursuit of new technologies, concepts and philosophies which allow us to discover new ways of designing.

Nature has been adapting its designs during the last 3,800 years, and attempting to imitate this process of evolution in order to find new design solutions is one of our principle objectives.

The technology used for this process is called VFX Engineering, and its complex simulations allow us to recreate and bring to life any element and/or system.

Some of our noteworthy projects include the “Splash” sculpture for “Expo Zaragoza 2008” and more recently the design of the new elBulli tableware collection.

Tons of Toons is an Animation Production Company with its own studio facilities.Founded in 2002 by Josep Esteve. Specializing in cartoon series and commercials for TV. Tons of Toons has been rewarded by “Real Academia de Cine” with the special prize “Segundo de Chomon” for his contribution to technology in the animation industry.

With clients such as Lee Davis (Hong Kong), Spektaculär (Germany),Enefecto (SPAIN), Chupa Chups (SPAIN), Grey (UK), Das Werk (Germany) and brands like Nabisco, PepsiCo, 7UP, Chips Ahoy etc. “LMN’S” cartoon tv series. 52 x 13′ .Worldwide premiered in DEC 2009. Other TV cartoon series: Apliks, Q-Bots, Comando,…are currently in development.
